High voltage capacitor BAM is a kind of full film high voltage shunt capacitor, which is suitable for the power frequency AC power system above 1KV, mainly used to improve the power factor, improve the voltage quality, and reduce the line loss. The capacitor adopts double-sided coarse polypropylene film as a solid medium, benzyl toluene (M/DBT) or phenyl ethane (PEPE) as a liquid medium, and folds aluminum foil as a plate. BAM capacitor has the characteristics of small size, light weight, low loss, low temperature rise, good partial discharge performance, long life and so on. According to the need, the internal fuse and discharge resistance can be installed to ensure its safe operation in high voltage environment. The main component of BAM capacitors is benzyl toluene and the medium is full film. Its application is mainly based on its excellent performance, including but not limited to:
